Here is recipe you should have in your back pocket if you have a gas grill. It makes a moist tasty boneless skinless chicken breast without a lot of preparation or time. I did this one on my Weber Genesis Grill.
First you season the breast. You can use any seasoning blend you like. This time I used Louisiana Grills Chicken Seasoning but you could use a barbecue rub, Italian, Cajun, Greek or Mexican seasonings. I have made it often by sprinkling a little salt, pepper, onion powder and garlic powder on it.
I preheat my grill to medium and put the breasts on the grill for 5 minutes.
I turn the breasts and grill for 5 minutes more.
I turn a second time and cook for 5 minutes.
I brush the breast with barbecue sauce before turning it a third time and then brushing the other side. Cook it for 5 more minutes.
Make sure the internal temperature is over 165 F and remove from the grill. Let it sit for 5 minutes before serving.
We served it with coleslaw and pasta salad.
The Verdict
This is so tasty. The chicken breast remains moist and putting the sauce on for the last five minutes gives it time to glaze the chicken without burning. I do this often.
