I am the first guy to want to try new things but sometimes you just want a basic old classic. We found a great buy on country style ย ribs and I decided to smoke them on the Louisiana Grills pellet smoker. Just some rub and some sauce on pork cooked low and slow.
I sprinkled the ribs with a generous amount of Louisiana Grills Sweet Rib Rub. Then I preheated the pellet grill to 210 F and put the ribs on.
I cooked them to an internal temperature of 130 F (it took me one hour twenty five minutes). Then I brushed the ribs with barbecue sauce and smoked them to an internal temperature of 155 f (it took me another thirty five minutes).
I took the ribs off and let them sit for a few minutes before serving.
We served them with a nice tossed salad and potato salad.
The Verdict
There is a reason people have been smoking country style ribs with a rub and sauce for years. The rub gives a spicy crust and the sweet barbecue sauce was literally designed for pork.
‘Nuff said.

Another winner I see!! I’ll have to add the BBQ sauce next time I try it.
Oh My Goodness! Lucky I do not live near by! I might get one of these for hubby. Was it very expensive. Going to google that now.
