We were given a bottle of Aurora Rare Vodka. We tried it neat and in a vodka martini. It was time to try it in something new, a French Martini. This uses pineapple juice and Chambord instead of vermouth.
Half fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add 2 ounces of vodka, 1 3/4 ounces of pineapple juice and 1/4 ounce of Chambord (a raspberry liqueur). Shake until the shaker ices and pour into chilled cocktail glasses. Garnish with a lemon twist.
This is a nice cocktail that is a little sweeter than a classic vodka martini. Chambord can be overpowering but the small amount just brings out a nice touch of raspberry. We enjoyed this.
