Betty Crocker Recipe
It is not summer here yet and I didn’t want to barbecue or smoke my chicken wings. I guess I am getting soft in my old age. So I surfed the net for a new oven chicken wing recipe.
I got to the the Betty Crocker site. I found this recipe and it was definitely different than anything I have tried before. The link to the recipe is:
Sticky Ginger Garlic Chicken Wings
I started by mixing up the glaze and simmered for 5 minutes.
I put the flour and seasonings in a plastic bag and shook the chicken in it. I was surprised there was liquid in the flour mixture but it did work.
I put the wings in a 375 F oven for 30 minutes. I turned the wings and cooked for another 25 minutes.
I put the chicken in the glaze and tossed it.
We served it up with a nice Mac and Cheese.
The Verdict
I enjoyed these wings. They have a crispy crust and a nice taste. They are not my favourite wings but I will make them again for a change or when I am doing a variety of wings for appetizers at a party.

Chicken in any form is my kids favorite. Will give it a try
This would be very good choice for kids, it isn’t too spicy!
