I have been getting requests for food that meets some of the nutritional demands of modern society. OK, my food is mostly made from unprocessed ingredients but there are bacon, wheat, sugar, fat and other ingredients that don’t fit many diet restrictions.
So, I started with one of my favourite items to start, a cocktail. Welcome to the Notta Cocktail.
I was amazed at how many items are restricted from the varied dietary restrictions. I finally found ingredients that are:
- Fat free
- Sugar free
- Low carb
- Gluten free
- Locally sourced
- Low calorie
As a result, this cocktail is suitable for:
- Paleo diets
- Gluten free diets
- The 100 mile diet
- Vegetarian diets
- Vegan Diets
- Low Carb Diets
- Low glucose diets
- Calorie reduced diets.
I simply gathered the ingredients, glassed and you can garnish appropriate to your diet.
The Verdict
This has an incredible light taste and is very refreshing. You can feel good serving it to anyone. Be the hit of the party! Serve the Notta Cocktail, the perfect drink to toast in April 1.

I came by way of Carlee’s blog, and you’ve brightened my day. I’ll drink to nondiets and garnish mine with a bit of booze, please!
Mollie
ps, not sure about the math capcha. Usually my dog does my counting…
Har, Mollie! I prefer a touch of booze too. As for the math captcha, I will send you a calculator.
Har, Mollie! I like a bit of alcohol in mine, too. I will send you a calculator for the captcha.
If you drink too many of these, you can get water poisoning.
I know, you should see what they’ve done to me already.
