Classic Tom Collins at oldfatguy.ca

We continue down the road to inebriation with another classic cocktail, a Tom Collins. It is a great choice as it continues hot here in the Canadian Rockies.I started by putting the sugar in each glass. I added the gin and stirred.

I squeezed the juice from the lemon.and added it to the glass.

Tom Collins 1

I put the gin in and stirred to dissolve the sugar. I added 4 ice cubes to each glass an poured in the club soda.

Tom Collins 2

The Verdict

Tall, cold and refreshing. This has a nice light flavour of gin that the lemon just sets off. I love it!
