I have been getting requests for food that meets some of the nutritional demands of modern society. OK, my food is mostly made from unprocessed ingredients but there are bacon, wheat, sugar, fat and other ingredients that don’t fit many diet restrictions.

The Christmas entertaining season is here. I decided I needed a nice seasonal cocktail. The Aviation Santa Sighting is what I came up with. Continue reading Aviation Santa Sighting
I really like an Old Fashioned and made one in a previous post. You’ll note in my prior post that I used a good Canadian rye whisky. However, they always seem to use bourbon when I order one in a bar, even here in Canada. Don’t get me wrong, a nice bourbon Old Fashioned is very tasty. I just prefer Canadian rye. I think it has a smoother richer taste.
In a previous post, I spoke about our Aviation Disaster, we ran out of Aviation Gin. My friend, Heather, had brought us some from the big city but it wasn’t available in our local liquor store. The search was on! Fortunately, the local BC Liquor Store manager ordered a case of Aviation gin so we could get some and now the store has it in stock. We were rescued. We had to come up with a cocktail to celebrate. Welcome to the Aviation Search and Rescue. Continue reading Aviation Search and Rescue

We had enough Aviation gin left for one more cocktail. It was a wonderful warm day. It was time to experiment. Continue reading Aviation Wing Commander Collins
The last cocktail we made when Heather and Bill came over with the bottle of Aviation gin was one we made up by experimentation. We had to taste and try several variations until we came up with the one we really liked. Sigh, the things I do for you, my readers. Continue reading Aviation Wild Blue Yonder
