Friends had asked for recipes and advice on how to smoke meat. This led to the idea of writing a book to help novice smokers. I have written the Old Fat Guy’s Guide to Smoking Meat – For Beginners. It is being finished by the publishers and should be out soon. I am very excited and terrified!

There is a tension in the household. She Who Must Be Obeyed likes boneless skinless chicken breasts because the are leaner and she likes white meat.
