I tried Cajun Injector Garlic Creole in a prior post. With the garlic notes of that product, it was perfect for beef. Cajun Injector Creole Butter says it is good for chicken so let’s give it a go!

I injected the marinade into four chicken thighs. I gave them a light rub with vegetable oil and rubbed some Creole Seasoning into them.

I put them in my toaster oven, skin side down, at 375 F. I cooked them for 25 minutes and turned them.

I cooked them for another 25 minutes.

We served the chicken with some steamed vegetables and rice.

The Verdict

This is a very nice injectable marinade. Although it is called Creole Butter there is no fat in it. This means it gives a touch of spice, a little tart but no greasy texture. I really like it and will use it again.
