We had several weeks of high temperatures and no rain here in the Rockies. The drought had a negative effect on my potato crop. The potatoes were about 2/3 the size they normally are. Fortunately, they tasted great.
Here is the last of the crop for the year. Of course I had to cook some after digging them up.
I cut them into a nice dice, added some of our walking onions and tossed them with some olive oil and Caribbean spice. Then I put them in a foil tray, covered them and gave them 45 minutes on the warming rack of my grill with medium high heat.
You have to love fresh food from your garden.
